Toms shoes teamed up with KidWiseman and the “End Gun Violence Together” campaign to paint a mural in National City.

The wall was chosen at a community arts center called “Arts, A Reason to Survive.” Where students of all ages can get school credit in activities ranging from theater, music, to wood working.

Many of the students that participate have been victims of gun violence in their communities. KidWiseman worked with a class of students to create the piece that now reads “Creative Weapons - Not Lethal”

Toms had a $5 million commitment to the cause which quickly went Global. Murals can be seen everywhere from Paris to Mexico City.
